Majeed Sharif

Save A Life Foundation was started in August of 2012, after I was invited to assess the poor and less fortunate in Guyana SA. Prior to visiting Guyana, I spent 7 years in East and West Africa as a volunteer humanitarian relief worker building schools, health centers, installing wells for pure drinking water and feeding the orphans, in the semi-deserts of Mali Timbuktu, Kenya and Ethiopia. Now I am determined to help every human being I realistically can.

  1. 2005 - Majeed Sharif spends seven years in East and West Africa as a volunteer helping to build schools and feeding and educating the children.  This experience changes his life.
  2. 2012 -He decides to establish the Save A Life Foundation to help those in need in Guyana.
  3. 2013 - Waterbury, CT is added to the list and many hungry people are fed twice a month through the foundation.
  4. 2014 - The website is launched so that people from all over the world have the opportunity to see what we are about and to give them an easy venue to make their donations.
